After graduating UC Santa Cruz with a double Bachelors major in Art and Cultural Anthropology he started working as a web / graphic designer at various companies before starting his own design company, Haywire Designs, in 2000, founding a clothing brand, HOAX MFG in 2009, and publishing his own international skateboard magazine, Confusion Magazine, in 2010.
